this seems like a fundamental and very bad mistake but Pearl adores Kodi...entirely and deeply wants her to be okay. She's gonna try to keep nudging her toward NOT pushing people away probably, if not only by virtue of just
never going away herself.

Her better plan is to just casually apply to a school in any city he HAPPENS to mention so that she has a diverse and incredibly weird selection by the end of the year??
