Each player is limited to one slot for the first 2 hours. After that, the limit is two slots per player. If a slot isn't taken on the day of, it's fair game for anyone, whether or not you already have two slots. Please remember to be considerate of other players when choosing slots!
October 2018 |
10/01 | Monday [Coin Character A] trips over Tobermory on their way to class. The cat yowls and darts away to hide under a nearby chair. Why would you do that to him, human?? 10/02 | Tuesday The Support students discover that the next rift will open on Friday and that it will appear near the lighthouse. Is this the result of the collective mental will of the students, coincidence, or something else? It's difficult to tell. Regardless, the staff announces that classes will be canceled and that Squad 3, Squad 4, Squad 5, Squad 6, Squad 9, and Squad 12 will be entering the Shadow World to have a look! 10/03 | Wednesday At squad training, it becomes very apparent that the freshmen have started fan clubs for some of the squads. Sabrina Lane is told by a freshman that it's their fault their squad's fanclub is so small. Harsh! 10/04 | Thursday Thalia Mitchell is getting ready in the morning and sees a strange, shadowy figure in the mirror. They start, but by the time they refocus on the mirror it's gone. 10/06 | Saturday Ulrich Roth goes on a morning run and gets a really bad charley horse - ouch! One of the kind-hearted freshmen gives them some of their Gatorade and helps them stretch it out and Ulrich tells them they owe them one! Hopefully that won't come back to haunt them. 10/07 | Sunday Venus Rosales and Hadlee Loxton go into the occult shop in town and meet the owner, an eldery woman with a blind eye and a jaunty disposition. She informs them that their auras are awfully burdened for young people and...offers them each a piece of candy. What were you expecting? 10/08 | Monday After class, Luke Pokorny sees Flora sitting in a lawn chair, sipping tea and directing some of her spectral Velvet Room creatures as they gather fallen leaves. She actually sort of smiles at Luke, which is quite friendly for her! 10/09 | Tuesday 🎂 Happy birthday Marina and Marzio Sarno! Mr. Bhattacharya is so impressed with Conway Loxton's essay, he writes an excerpt from it up on the board and praises the author at length. Brilliant! This may be either extremely validating or extremely mortifying. When he hands back everyone's essays, theirs has a prominent gold star on it. It's the only one ever seen in the class. 10/10 | Wednesday Working with the Velvet Room denizens, Ms. Voss arranges for an extensive Persona-utilizing scavenger hunt around campus for the Supports. Eli Gardner finds all twenty-five of the hidden objects and, for this accomplishment, Ms. Voss awards them with a detective hat and a bubble-blowing pipe. Nice job! During this exercise, Ryan Botterill picks up on an item that isn't on the list. Certain that they're right, they go to investigate after class...but there's nothing there. Embarrassing. 10/11 | Thursday Kyra Wilkie sees a shadowy figure in the bathroom mirror while getting ready for class. It seems to look at them and touches the glass. When they hesitantly do the same, dark water begins to spill out of the mirror and the figure vanishes. 10/12 | Friday Community Outreach will be manning a booth at the Apple Festival tomorrow, so they get together to bake, and everyone is invited to help! Suzy Choi bakes a really beautiful cake that's definitely going to sell well! Too bad they drop it on the floor. It's a disappointment, but Dakota and Sunny certainly appreciate it! Lillian Armstrong, meanwhile, makes a bunch of cookies that are kind of ugly, but they taste amazing! 10/13 | Saturday ✨The yearly Apple Festival is held at a nearby orchard! The students are encouraged to enjoy all that the festival has to offer, which includes bobbing for apples, hay rides, and lots of booth games. 10/14 | Sunday A mysterious post appears in the journals and the students can't tell who wrote it. The post reads, ominously: Show me your true self. And the strangeness doesn't stop there... 10/15 | Monday In an attempt to dispel some of the negative energy from the post the night before, Liam Blumenthal is passing out flowers to people who look like they need some cheering up! 10/16 | Tuesday In art class, Ms. Kowalczyk instructs the students to pick someone they know (a family member, a friend, a teacher, etc.) and paint what they imagine their Persona would look like; just for fun! Marina Sarno must not think much of [Subject of Choice] because their Persona is little more than a colorfully mean caricature. Atticus Starling, meanwhile, decides to paint a Persona for Iason and the result is quite lovely. Do they.... (gasp) have a CRUSH? 10/17 | Wednesday 🎂Happy Birthday Ella Calloway! The Support students detemine that a rift will be opening Saturday. The staff announces that Squad 1, Squad 2, Squad 7, Squad 8, Squad 10, and Squad 11 will be entering the Shadow World. 10/18 | Thursday Ella Calloway gets tangled in some fake spider webs on the way to class, but thinks they're real. They scream VERY loudly, and it's definitely something of a spectacle. 10/19 | Friday Lucille Simon does a bit of extra training in the evening and gets a little turned around when trying to leave the Velvet Room. Khalil suddenly appears and directs them to the exit, but leaves just as quickly as he arrived. 10/21 | Sunday Shiloh Sadler and Luke Pokorny spend part of the day at the arcade! Luke gets a fortune from Zoltar that says great loss is in their future... Shiloh absolutely destroys them in air hockey soon after. 10/22 | Monday While walking by the Music classroom, Pearl Kline overhears Ms. Voss attempting to talk Ms. Hayward into doing a ~cute couples costume~ with her when they chaperone the upcoming Halloween Dance. Ms. Hayward seems reluctant in the extreme but agrees if her partner can come up with something truly memorable. Ms. Voss vows to do just that! When she leaves and spies Pearl, she seems to assume (or know?) they were listening and recruits them into a costume-planning session! 10/23 | Tuesday Dakota comes and curls up with Rose Chapman when they're on the couch watching a movie. Aww! Later that evening she comes to them with an old, wet, slobbery baseball in her mouth that she is adamant that they take. When they toss it for her, she whimpers and brings it back. Are they supposed to keep this gift?? 10/24 | Wednesday Getting into the spirit of the season, a freshman hides outside the common room. When Kodi Hansen exits, they scream and jump out at them. This is not a good trick to play on someone that spends their freetime hunting Shadows, though, and Kodi ends up breaking their nose. Sorry, kid! 10/25 | Thursday Irene decides it's time to tease her brother. She recruits as many students as she can to ask Iason to the Halloween dance, knowing that the prospect of such social interaction will reduce him to a confused, stuttering deer in the headlights. Lots of students join in, and Russell Reeve even manages to make Iason blush! After too many invites, the man disappears and Francesca Salazar finds him hiding in a broom closet. 10/26 | Friday ✨With four successful trips into the Shadow World now behind them, Lenore decides that the students are experienced enough for a new lesson. She explains that Personas have infinite potential and that includes other elements. She'll be teaching them about two of those elements today: light and darkness. With enough luck and determination, some students may walk away from this lesson with some new skills! 10/28 | Sunday 🎂Happy Birthday Dallas Levy! Noah Dressler gets a note from a freshman who was apparently too shy to ask them to dance yesterday - will they save a dance for them at the next event?? 10/29 | Monday Emma Lilywhite gets a Halloween care package from home that has silly string in it! They get Wallace Dunn in the back of the head after dinner, and Sullivan Sinclair right in the face. 10/30 | Tuesday 🎂Happy Birthday Scout Thoroughgood! ✨ The Drama Club will be holding auditions for their first production today and students eagerly come to show Ms. Kowalczyk, Mr. Moon, and Venus Rosales what they've got! 10/31 | Wednesday Halloween! A mysterious black cat crosses Zinnia Howe's path, and they're not sure if it's an even worse sign when it happens on Halloween... |

PLAYER EVENTS
Date: 2018-09-30 03:00 pm (UTC)SHADOW POST
Date: 2018-09-30 03:00 pm (UTC)A nameless entry will appear along with the ominous prompt: Show me your true self. Below this, writing will appear that exposes the inner thoughts, inner feelings, and secrets of the inhabitants of Finchwood Academy. Fortunately, the handwriting is unrecognizable and these responses are also nameless and unidentifiable. Unfortunately, attempts to obscure these responses are ineffective and will disappear into the page without having any impact. It's...unsettling. Unlike the other entries in the journals, the ink in this entry is thick and black. Students can reply to this entry as well and, while their writing appears blue like normal, their replies are also nameless and unrecognizable, resulting in complete anonymity. How is this happening?
Players will submit these inner thoughts, inner feelings, and secrets to the mods on a screened post so it's a mystery for the players as well! Though, obviously, you can be as blatant or as subtle as you want. Keeping things mysterious OOC is an option, not an obligation.
