05/01 | Wednesday 🎂 Happy Birthday Selby Denman! Support students determine that another rift will be opening on Saturday. Squad 1, Squad 2, Squad 3, Squad 4, Squad 5, and Squad 6 will be heading into the Shadow World. 05/04 | Saturday While the rift opens as expected, the squads find that the last door remains closed. Searching the cathedral yields no helpful information, though Yvette Barton discovers that the sun and moon mosaics on the floor are now shattered. 05/06 | Monday Pearl Kline finds Mr. Gladstone collapsed in his office. Black liquid is seeping out of the man's eyes and he appears catotonic. Iason is visibly shaken by this and is unable to heal him, so he's taken to the hospital. 05/07 | Tuesday The mood around campus is somber after what happened to the headmaster, and Kodi Hansen decides to skip class. They're joined by Dakota, who seems worried about them and curls up with them. And then by Sunny. And then by Tobermory. No sign of Cheshire, though. 05/09 | Thursday 🎂 Happy Birthday Eva Crawford! While crossing campus, Atticus Starling sees Khalil and Joni sitting together by the greenhouse. Joni has her head on Khalil's shoulder and the boy makes eye contact with Atticus. By the time they get up there, though, the two are gone. Apparently they didn't want to talk. 05/11 | Saturday Continuing to investigate the books in the referene section that was marked in the Shadow World, Squad 9 discovers a large, dated book with a singe mark on the cover. The book contains detailed historical and geographic data about the Haling Cove region, as well as schematics for some of the town's older structures, including city hall, the town square, and the lighthouse. Thinking that it could be important, Pansy Tipton and Monet Romilly coordinate a plan to sneak it out of the reference section so they can examine it more thoroughly. 05/12 | Sunday 🎂 Happy Birthday Josephine Linville! While in town, Noah Dressler and Martin Geary are approached by Logan Axell, Maxie Shain, and Aurora Sanders. The trio asks what the Finchwood Academy bus had been doing at the lighthouse last week in the middle of the night. Apparently, these are the spraypainters they'd unintentionally chased off. Noah manages to come up with a lie and Martin backs it up, but the locals seem suspicious. 05/15 | Wednesday ✨ Reading through the book 'borrowed' from the library, Neal Valentine and Liam Blumenthal find a discrepancy between what's described in the building plans for the lighthouse and what they've seen in visiting the area. Ms. Voss and Lenore overhear this conversation, leading to further discussion, further investigation, and a trip out to the lighthouse. This may have unforeseen consequences. This event will include an IC/OOC with additional details. All character will be able to participate. 05/18 | Saturday A rift opens in Haling Cove with little warning and the students scramble to get there and fight back any Shadows that might try to escape into the real world. Luckily, this occurs in a relatively isolated area and the rift isn't open for long. Nobody was there to get hurt or to see what happened. But what's going on? 05/23 | Thursday With the behavior of the rifts changing and the situation becoming increasingly unpredictable, Ms. Voss reluctantly initiates shifts for Supports to scan for rifts and Shadow activity. While she isn't forcing the Supports to participate, she asks them to please help if they can. Lucille Simon takes the lead in coordinating these efforts and keeping logs. It's a lot of work, but someone's got to do it! 05/31 | Friday ✨ Another day, another unexplained rift in Haling Cove. This time, though, the consequences for Finchwood Academy are considerably more dire. A significant IC/OOC event will occur on this date. Stay tuned for details! |
