Welcome (back) to Finchwood Academy, kids! This year is going to be a whole different ball game, so we hope you're ready! Because all of the currently played characters were here last year, and because we obviously have a massive influx of characters all at once, this meme is to help you find your kids' places in the world.

mara isn't putting up with your rich boy crankiness, sorry. if he sasses her she will sass back. she'll be a good girl fighting shadows and all, though.

Well. In terms of being a squad leader, Adam will be in 'work hard' mode and he'll definitely push his squad and expect a lot from them. Though he won't demand anything from them that he won't demand from himself too. If she sasses him then there will definitely be Friction. Outside of training and stuff, he's definitely going to try to spoil his squad into liking him (because he's hopeless) but a certain amount of rich boy huffing and short temper is pretty much inevitable with him. :o And if she pushes back too hard, he'll stop trying to play nice at all.

So. I honestly have no idea how this will go!

she's not going to go out of her way to sass him unless he does something to irritate her, so it should be ok?

I suspect it may be one of those things we have to play out to see if they push each other's buttons. My hope is that he'll get along with them all well enough to appreciate and spoil his awesome girl gang but we'll see!

Although, honestly, if Venus already dislikes Hadlee and Mara's going to take a stand with her...they may just have to be a powder keg squad.

I need to add 'Gossiping in Korean' to Adam's likes list because this brings him joy. ♥ BUT YES! I'm very glad to have Adam's good sister here too and I'm excited about them~

Any time Suzy tries out for a play and doesn't get the very best part, he's going to be outraged.

We've talked about Atticus and Adam a little already, but Atticus is also an artist if you need something for that still. But also I don't want to monopolize him and I'm sure he and Atticus see plenty of each other already so no pressure if you wanna hold out for someone else. Open offer!

For Venus and Adam... I think she does genuinely like him, even if she will be a little pouty about not being on Neal's squad. But her affections are very easy to buy, so he wouldn't have to do a lot to get on her good side if he wanted to. And she very very much wants his approval as her squad leader, but also I think is going to have a hard time separating "Squad Leader Adam" from "Classroom Acquaintance Adam" in her mind and be a little like oh god why do i care if adam thinks i'm good at this??? @ herself.

We have! ♥ And I'm sorry Atticus has to deal with Adam. THAT SAID, if he'd engage Adam in his 'how do I art??' adventure, I think that could be cute! I think it really comes down to whether or not Atticus would initiate that, though? Because Adam probably wouldn't without a good reason and I....do not know what that would be. So he sort of needs someone to push the issue with him. Though, I suspect when they're focusing on painting and drawing and stuff, Adam may spend a lot of time watching Atticus with confused awe. What is this black magic??

OH GOSH. If her affections are easy to buy, they're going to be buddies. Help him decide what customized swag the squad definitely needs, please, Venus! Encourage his bad habits! That said, if she plays nice with him generally, I think he'll like her too despite not being a fan of her Junior Wands Squad (...mostly Neal, really). She's pretty and fun at a party, what's not to like? And her wanting his approval is cute and so bad for his ego. asdfiasfh He also wants to be a good leader, though, and helping his squadmates excel will be important to him. They're the best, obviously, and it's up to him to make that obvious.

I think he would! It might have taken him a little time to open up/engage, but since his relationship with Adam is generally positive I think he would notice if Adam took an interest in his art. Especially since they have art class together. I think it might be a nice way for them to bond a little more genuinely.

I'm suuuuper excited for Venus and Adam's dynamic. She's going to be so thrilled that he's in drama with her even if he is crew only. She'll be like "haha now I'M in charge :)". I think in general she probably does like teasing him, but I imagine this is walking a fine line, since she's pretty sensitive about being teased in return and I don't know if Adam would enjoy it either lmao.

Sully wants to be Adam's friend but also wants to purposefully push his buttons and make him angry. We already talked a tiny bit about Adam and Sully being friends until Sully does something to temporarily piss Adam off and I am still up for this if you are!!!!

Liam is intimidated by Adam, I think. They are both fighty boys with some anger troubles. I doubt weird goth nerd Liam is much on Adam's radar beyond shared clubs, though?

I AM. Adam and Sully, forever trapped in a cycle of being friendly, Adam getting pissed off at Sully for a dumb reason, Adam remembering that Sully is fun but not wanting to apologize and just...coming back. Also, I'm super sorry that he gets mad at Sully because Hadlee and Eli are so into him?? What sense does that even make, Adam?

:') Oh no Liam. But that's fair! And Adam probably doesn't think much of Liam, no. 'Oh, a nerd' is probably about as far as his consideration of him ever gets. I'm sorry. But maybe that'll change as we play! He'll definitely be surprised to see him as a second.

We obviously talk way too much, but!!!! Hadlee loves Adam very very much and just wants to do her best by him and also get all of his attention, so it's incredibly lucky (for her) that he's seems like maybe he's not that close with anyone else on their team!!! Since now stuff is awkward with Kodi! I promise she'll mostly behave and will spend a lot of time validating him.

Scout will try to take all of the things he finds troublesome about Adam in stride! Like the trying to buy him thing! And also his temper! He likes him very much and has a lot of faith in him as a person and as a leader, but will encourage him to take deep breaths, be less mean, and... maybe talk about his feelings a little bit? Just maybe?? He's very glad to have his running buddy!!

I'm not entirely sure how Dora will react. She loves the work hard aspect of him, but she doesn't take well to being looked down on and she doesn't understand how he can balance working hard AND playing hard. That might be a point of interest for her though, trying to figure him out.

Ella enjoys the play hard aspect and is oblivious to his feelings of superiority and she's easily bought so if he can stand to be around her, she's there!
