on today's episode of I Did Something and I Don't Know Why,
meet my 5th character that i cobbled together from spare parts

sophomore sword! squad 7! wheel of fortune, thunder

classes: no honors, computer science, life skills // clubs: athletics and choir (despite the fact that she cannot sing very sorry pearl)
hails from Olympia, WA, where she and her siblings grew up latchkey miscreants while their parents focused on careers that took them out of town a lot
just kidding they're good kids but man they could have used more supervision
if i have the brain for it portia is: (+) adventurous, cheerful, well-intentioned, plucky, outspoken (=) trusting, impulsive, unambitious (-) fickle, lazy, unpolished, troublesome, naive!!! generally still cookin' & trying to figure herself out in a very weird place to do that kind of thing
she's just a soul whose intentions are good but execution could uh use some help
was once "asked kindly" to "resign" from her western washington girl scouts troop
good at sports!! a tiny wrestler
school not great! she looks like she cares more than she actually does because she asks a lot of questions and is kinda bouncy but she's constantly just winging things she should not wing at ALL
fights with a combat knife
her persona is a fever dream w a lot of wings
extremely too long app is here! i am, as ever, bad at intros

portia looks up to her quite a bit :c !! i sprinkled into her app that working on a squad's kinda helped her mature a bit in the last few months & lee's leadership is definitely a big part of that i imagine ♥ though she was probably a nightmare to deal with while Spooked a few weeks ago lol

A soul with good intentions and questionable execution? I know a sophomore who could would be honored to try and fail beside her! Gregory, I assume, quite likes Portia and they can ask a million questions together in class. (Whether or not she likes Gregory is another question altogether.)

Pansy is a fellow Sword, and I assume knows Portia best through Athletics, where Pansy is very active.

i'm sure she likes gregory too & has no real idea that his execution is questionable even if their approaches to things are probably a liiiil different. :d i assume he strikes her as brave and creative, which are things she enjoys.

i stand by marina's decision that she thinks portia is the second most competent of the soph swords. she also has been terrible and not intervened once when marzio and hamsi harass her.
