Liam honestly thinks that Venus is a peach and a lot of fun. The mean girling stuff he could take or leave but he finds the Jr Wands hijinks incredibly charming even while he grumbles and rolls his eyes and frowns a lot. People disliking or being lukewarm toward him is actually more familiar than being outright liked and even if she doesn't consider him a friend he enjoys being in her orbit. Liam likes basking in the glow of happier, more outgoing people.
Yes. I would love for the seconds to all bond! Omg. Atticus and Liam actually have a lot of points of interaction with Gaming and being seconds and Gardening Club. Liam likes him and his hobo schtick and would be happy to just...quietly hang out in the same place doing whatever. They can prune rose bushes in roughly the same spot and call it friendship.
