oh, he wouldn't hold it against her or anything. but just how... rigid her lifestyle is is very opposite to his and i don't think debating it would do them much good since they're both very set in their ways lmao. he might sometimes be like "hey, you've earned a day off" in an off-hand fashion, because sometimes when he's been working really hard he lets himself sleep in late. but he wouldn't push her if she said it wasn't for her.

as for the particulars about his history he's not very open about it, but i imagine the info she's a military brat is probably a little more open-to-all, so he... miiiight talk to her about it sometime. he doesn't think much of the US military, though, so it might be a loaded topic. i imagine his lead for that convo would probably something around the lines of "would you be joining the military if your family wasn't already military?" and it's just genuine curiosity.
