tbh, liam, it’s the “not wanting to die” part that’s tricky!!! anyway,
dustin thinks liam is a particularly admirable kid; his whole paladin
schtick totally speaks to him and he probably sees him as an example of
someone who does things right. i’m not sure if he’s jealous, per se, but i
think there’s definitely a part of dustin that feels like he’s got smthng
to learn from him in a way that feels a little like jealousy on a bad day
