NAME: Suzy Choi
ROOM: Senior Sword Girls
ROOMMATES: Pansy Tipton + Blake Hasenkamp

DECORATIONS: Su is a minimalist for everything but school supplies and skincare. So -- things are a bit spartan, but airy, curated and pleasant, with everything serving a particular aesthetic. She takes care of her things and has clearly chosen them purposefully. There's a yoga mat and a small collection of books (mostly for school, but a couple of special cookbooks/travelogues and one or two favored graphic novels). A large wall tapestry for a privacy curtain (usually held open, but, when closed, shielding a web of fairy lights she can turn on for coziness). Su's desk displays a massive ultra-utilitarian organizer for all of her stationery and pens. She's got a rainbow of notebooks and one or two little knick-knacks: a tiny Eiffel Tower from dad, a framed bujeok commissioned by her grandparents when she was a baby. Su also has a cork-board for photobooth pics, reminders, etc. It's probably the messiest thing in her space, apart from her makeup bag.

TIDINESS: Suzy is very tidy, but mostly because she's made it easy for herself. Everything has a correct place. Shoes in a row based on function and color. Clothes hung and folded meticulously. In times of particular stress or busyness, though, adhering to the System falls a few rungs on the priority list. You can tell a lot about Su's mental state based on the way her corner of the room looks.

STANDARDS: Suzy wants to get to know you and be friends! Let's all share our schedules on a dorm calendar. Let's have a Weekly Check-In. (...Tell Suzy your secrets and all your gossip. >:D) So... There's that. And there are some rules that everyone should follow, like quiet hours after 10pm, maybe. And taking turns with what few chores they might share. Helping stock a communal snack bin. ETCETERA. Su is not a roommate you can ignore, basically. She won't nag you or be on your back for missing curfew, partying, or having a mess in your own space, nothing like that, but. She's uh. Present.

PET PEEVES: Taking things without asking. Su doesn't mind sharing, but she hates assumptions. She also doesn't like having too many people in the room at once unexpectedly -- if you're going to bring a ton of friends over, you have to give her fair warning or she'll be a little ball of annoyance somewhere in the periphery all night. That said, whatever the roommates have established as rules between them are to be respected. If there's an agreed upon way of doing things, don't change it for no reason or just to be mean!! :(

HABITS: Su is... very busy. She adheres to a very specific schedule in order to achieve her various goals, academic or otherwise, and doesn't veer from it very far. If you know her well enough, she's comforting in her predictability. She does like to do yoga in the room, though, which can be kind of an Obstruction. She listens to soft twee indie music while studying. And, most importantly... Sometimes she cries. Like. Not all the time, but. When things are bad. Or someone said something mean or, alternatively, really great. Or sometimes during Finals. Not like, hysterically. But. There are tears. Suzy usually has the presence of mind to close her privacy curtain or go take a walk or something, thankfully, but if you're her roommate you have absolutely seen her stress cry over something ridiculous. And heard her complain angrily in Korean to her mom for like a WHOLE HOUR some weekends.

HIDDEN TREASURES: Airplane bottles. And snacks!! Su has a lot of snacks around. Mostly candy and things that can keep for a while without going stale. That's... about it. Boring.

SLEEPING HABITS: Suzy is asleep between 10:30-11:00 unless she has Too Much To Do, in which case all bets are off. She does wake at 6:30 to stretch and run before getting ready for class, which is non-negotiable. Despite this regularity, though, Su is actually kind of a poor sleeper; she needs an eye mask and white noise on her phone to get her brain to turn off at all, and occasionally has night terrors that wake her up thrashing or making noises.

BATHROOM HABITS: Su showers every morning before school, and occasionally at night depending on what else she's been up to. She has a 10-step skincare routine that takes up a lot of mirror time, and sometimes walks around wearing skinmasks before bed. Also, I hate this, but Suzy is the kind of person who sometimes leaves sticky notes up on the mirror or bathroom door with kind you can do it!! messages. :/ It's obvious that she's the one who does it, but she thinks she's sneaky. And uplifting.

COMMON ROOM: Suzy does homework in the common room fairly often, though she's easily distracted by other people. She will straighten it up and make sure it's neat if she notices it's messy, and sometimes leaves extra candy in there just to be nice.
