I'm gonna have to clean up my personal drive so that it isn't a confusing mess lol, but I understand the messing with wording.

Jordan's also told me that this group can all be a little gunshy, so I'm going to (eventually) step out of my shell and email/dropbox people. I just have to work up to it lol. Thank you.

I'm not 100% sure how Watson would interact with Martin. They are in dance and community outreach and Martin's personality is the sort that would be attractive to Watson, the idiot, so I suppose they could get paired off somehow?

Re: talking to each other, I'd say the majority of the plotting and communicating we do w each other happens on these chat posts or in our dropboxes, so you don't ever need to feel shy about posting to them. This post is definitely the best way to get in touch with people since we all track it, but sometimes if I just want to like comment on a scene or link to something that needs a players attention then I'll put it in their drop box

Is it bad to admit that I don't follow the OOC chat post? I tried with Gooseberry and over the summer, but the sheer volume of replies that can happen while I'm in class/at work gets overwhelming and I panic because I'm not participating enough? But then I get isolated and not talk as much, so... it's something I got to try and find the balance of, I know.

But I'll think and let you know! I am being slow too because of the whole full time school/work/personal projects stuff but I really do want to be involved and make friends and throw Watson to the wolves, so to speak.

You don't have to track the post, but I suggest you at least check it once a day? Most of what we talk about is very non-essential chatter, but a good deal of plotting and player socializing happens here and if you're not looking at all then of course you're going to miss what's going on in the game.

Like, you absolutely don't need to read and reply to everything, but clicking the "Top-Level Comments Only" link and glancing through new topics once a day will help.

A lot of "logs" are just done as scenes in ic/oocs now, and an easy way to get scenes is to look at the ooc section of the post. Everyone describes their characters' availability and you just have to be like "hey, I'd love for X and X to interact".

And like people have said, almost all plotting happens publicly. Like, the email chain for the cyclone is just us shouting about how bad they all are. Anything substantial happens here.

Yes that's right! The pool party is a perfect example. Those have sort of taken the place of logs, unless there's a very specific misc. scene two players want to do and no upcoming ic/ooc settings fits it.

Yesyes, we do the majority of our playing on first person journal posts and the big semi-in-character, third person IC/OOCs. Some people do write logs in gdocs if they're going to be long or if they want to get them done ahead of time to post on a specific day
